the ontic

In 2006 Rye Randa and Jeff Foxworth joined forces to form the dynamic producing-songwriting-composing duo known as The Ontic, and immediately found themselves composing for the HBO Documentary Ithuteng: {Never Stop Learning}. Soon after, they were brought on to score the documentary film Shaun White: Don’t Look Down for ESPN with Michael Johns, Season 7 Finalist on American Idol. The film was featured at the X-Dance Film Festival in Park City, and secured a nomination for Best Original Music Score.

Since then The Ontic has been quite busy. Recent television projects include The Power of Music (CBS), The Wanted (NBC), Off The Grid (History Channel), The Great Escape (TNT) and The Father Albert Show (FOX) to name a few. They have also written and produced songs for artists such as Bonnie Somerville, Bruce Greenwood, Rossif Sutherland, and Katelyn Tarver. With even bigger and higher-profile projects continuing to materialize, The Ontic is ever becoming a dynamic presence in the entertainment world.
