From writing to producing, singing, composing and engineering, Rye Randa truly does it all. His life-long passion and gift for music can be traced to his mother, Tina Dispoto of the Crystalettes, a successful 60’s vocal trio known for their hit song "Shy Guy”. Rye himself began recording and performing at the young age of 14. His appetite and innate creativity inspired him to learn a number of instruments on his own, and as a natural progression he began to write, record and produce his own material. After studying at the University of California in Irvine, Rye returned to Los Angeles to focus solely on music. It wasn't long before his song "Overground " won First Prize out of more than 33,000 entries from 50 countries in the USA Songwriting Competition. “Overground” was subsequently recorded by the legendary pop trio Three Dog Night and landed a spot on their 2004 release "Three Dog Night: 35th Anniversary Hits Collection" which features the Grammy-Winning London Symphony Orchestra.

With decades of experience under his belt, Rye has written, produced and arranged hundreds of songs, cues and score for countless different projects, and now, as he embarks on a new era with The Ontic, this is but the beginning of a boundless and long-standing career in music.
